Game Overview

As you play as Finn, you'll meet new characters and make decisions that will impact the fate of the world. Finn must master a card game called the Way to prevent a neighboring nation from attacking his home. By infiltrating tournaments, he can get close to the enemy's elite commanders and make his own choices on what to do. Remember, every decision has consequences.

The gameplay is simple: play a warrior and support card each turn, and your units will attack the enemy. The challenge lies in choosing the right combination, building your deck, and knowing when to hold back cards. Each battle has unique rules that can be exploited with clever deck building.

Warriors range from strong front-liners to fragile archers and spellcasters. Equipment cards can buff warriors, and spells can aid fighters or harm enemies. There's no one way to play - build a deck that grinds down opponents with tough fighters, take out enemy warriors with high-damage archers and poison-wielding bandits, or try something else. With a huge selection of cards to choose from, the possibilities are endless.

Ash of Gods: The Way combines RPG-style conversations, a collectible card game, and turn-based tactical battles. Your choices in these areas will shape your story.

You create a deck in Ash of Gods: The Way by combining character and support cards. Characters fight on the battlefield, while support cards buff them or cast spells. Both types of cards can be upgraded, and characters can learn new skills.

Cards belong to five factions, each with its own strengths. You earn new cards by winning battles, buying them, or completing tasks. Mix and match factions as you like, or focus on one. The choice is yours.

CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY

The story follows Finn, who embarks on a perilous mission to end a brutal war. But on his journey, he discovers that some of his enemies aren't what he thought they were. Finn will face tough choices and must deal with the outcomes. The main plot, conveyed through (fully voice acted) cutscenes and conversations, is non-linear and has multiple endings. You can also complete side quests to further explore the world.
