Step into the future and compete in a high-stakes reality game show where only the strongest will survive. You'll face off against other contestants in a dangerous urban environment filled with traps, puzzles, and heavily armed psychopaths. Use your wits and skills to survive each challenge and move on to the next round.

The game is played in turn-based combat, so you'll have time to carefully consider your next move. Each level is hand-crafted and designed to test your skills. Will you be able to survive the challenges and win the game?

Gameplay

Showgunners is a turn-based tactical game with a dynamic level design. Each stage is hand-crafted to provide a unique challenge, and the diabolical show director can hinder or help Scarlett depending on your performance. Players will need to recruit new partners, upgrade their characters, and overcome deadly traps and puzzles in order to succeed. Showgunners also features a Twitch integration that allows streamers to control the direction of each level.

The game is divided into two main sections: exploration and combat.

During the exploration phase, players have the freedom to navigate through a partially open area that is packed with valuable items, healing stations, shops, traps, and other exciting encounters. Interacting with fans during exploration rewards players with Fame and Personality Points. The number of Personality Points earned depends on how players choose to sign autographs. These two point systems play a crucial role in unlocking sponsorships, some of which have specific personality requirements.

The exploration areas have a somewhat linear structure, guiding players towards an Arena upon completion. Each Arena serves as a major highlight, offering larger spaces filled with diverse hazards, various enemy types, and challenging bosses. These Arenas truly provide the ultimate gaming experience.
