Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Xbox Series X|S / PC is Capcom's return to the dormant Onimusha series after nearly twenty years away, a third-person swordplay action game playable on Xbox Series X|S through the Microsoft Store or on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store.

A Samurai Adrift in a Demon-Ridden Kyoto

The story follows Miyamoto Musashi, a young and ambitious swordsman who arrives in early Edo-period Kyoto determined to prove he's unmatched with a blade. His plans change when he becomes bound to the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical weapon that grants supernatural power but comes with its own risks. Guided by a mysterious ally known as the Oni Lady, Musashi is pulled into a fight against the Genma, demonic invaders spreading Malice throughout the city.

Combat and Characters

• Fast, precise swordplay built around parries, dodges and finishing moves
• Oni Gauntlet abilities that let Musashi push past normal human limits
• A cast of rivals and foes, including Sasaki Ganryu, Shuten Doji and other Genma commanders
